Business Admin/ Team Leading Apprenticeship Tutor
After several years of stability, consistency, and strong staff retention, a well-established apprenticeship provider is now ready to grow — and is looking to welcome a Level 3 Apprenticeship Tutor into its experienced and supportive team.
This is a role designed for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people. It’s not about constant assessment pressure or ticking boxes. Instead, it’s about guiding, mentoring, and supporting apprentices as they grow into confident, capable professionals.
If you enjoy helping others make sense of learning, like building trusted relationships, and want to work in an organisation that values development, flexibility, and doing things properly — this could be an incredibly rewarding next step.
This is an organisation that does things thoughtfully. The tutoring team has remained largely unchanged for several years — a rarity in this space — which speaks volumes about the culture, leadership, and workload balance.
People are trusted to do their jobs well. Support is available when it’s needed. Development is encouraged, not rushed. And success is measured by learner outcomes and relationships, not just numbers on a spreadsheet.
Growth here is intentional — which is why these roles are being recruited carefully and with long-term fit in mind.
After several years of stability, consistency, and strong staff retention, a well-established apprenticeship provider is now ready to grow — and is looking to welcome a Level 3 Apprenticeship Tutor into its experienced and supportive team.
Main Purpose
As a Level 3 Apprenticeship Tutor, you’ll support learners on business and administration and team leading apprenticeship programmes, acting as their main point of contact throughout their journey.
Your role will be varied, people-focused, and purposeful.
Responsibilities
It will include:
- Coaching and mentoring apprentices to apply their learning in real workplace contexts
- Supporting learners through regular tutorials and progress reviews
- Helping apprentices build confidence, organisation skills, and professional behaviours
- Preparing learners for End Point Assessment in a calm, structured, supportive way
- Working with employers to ensure apprentices are supported and progressing well
- Managing learner records and evidence to demonstrate progress and achievement
You won’t be delivering technical classroom training — that’s handled separately. Your focus is on holistic development, helping learners connect the dots between theory, practice, and personal growth.
Who This Role Would Suit
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring and development but doesn’t necessarily come from a traditional assessor background.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have some supervisory or management experience, or
- Have worked with Level 3 apprenticeships in a support, mentoring, or internal role
- Enjoy coaching, guiding, and motivating others
- Are approachable, organised, and confident communicating with a wide range of people
- Prefer relationship-led work over high-pressure, compliance-heavy environments
Formal teaching or assessing qualifications aren’t essential. What matters most is your attitude, experience, and desire to support others. Full support is available to help you work towards relevant qualifications where needed.
This role offers a genuine hybrid working model:
Monday to Wednesday: office-based
Thursday & Friday: home-based
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Flexibility is part of the culture here. Adjusted start and finish times, or reduced working days, may be considered depending on individual circumstances and business needs.
Some UK travel may be required occasionally, including the odd overnight stay, but this is minimal and not a defining feature of the role.
Benefits
- 25 days’ annual leave plus a Christmas shutdown (customary each year)
- Private health insurance, including dental and optical contributions
- Death in service benefit
- Standard pension contributions
- Free on-site parking
- Funded professional development and qualification support
You’ll also be joining a stable, experienced team where knowledge is shared freely and new starters are properly supported.
If you’re looking for a role where you can:
- Build meaningful relationships
- Make a real difference to learners’ lives
- Be trusted and supported as a professional
- Join a calm, experienced, and values-led team
…then we’d love to hear from you.
