Main Purpose
You’ll be the bridge between motivated learners and forward-thinking employers — helping both find the perfect match.
Responsibilities
As a Business Development Consultant, you’ll:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with employers, understanding their needs and supporting them to develop their workforce through apprenticeships.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads, using your consultative approach to offer the right training solutions.
- Support learners on their journey, ensuring they’re prepared and confident as they begin their placements.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure every placement is compliant, well-matched, and successful.
This hybrid role offers a balance of independence and teamwork, with a base in Birmingham and flexibility to work from home. You’ll thrive here if you’re self-motivated, results-driven, and genuinely passionate about supporting others to succeed.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in business development or client relationship management (ideally within apprenticeships, education, or childcare).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A consultative mindset and the confidence to engage with employers at all levels.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently.
