We are working with a well-established training provider in Scunthorpe who are looking to add a passionate, motivated, and people-focused Business Development Executive to their team. Main Purpose
As a Business Development Executive, you will be the face of the organisation with employers across the region. Your role will be about building strong, consultative relationships, understanding client needs, and showcasing how apprenticeships and training can solve real business challenges.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day, you will:
- Deliver a professional and consultative sales experience to prospects and existing customers.
- Promote a full range of training and apprenticeship programmes, tailoring solutions to meet employer needs.
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations, proposals, and pitches.
- Manage your own pipeline of opportunities, ensuring you meet personal and team targets.
- Build long-term partnerships with businesses, becoming a trusted adviser for skills and training.
- Work with colleagues across the organisation to share market insights and help shape future strategy.
- Represent the organisation at meetings, events, and promotional activities.
This is a role that requires energy, drive, and a real passion for people. You’ll be equally comfortable presenting in a boardroom as you are having conversations on the shop floor.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in business development, account management, or sales (ideally within education, training, or a related sector).
- A confident communicator with excellent presentation skills.
- Target-driven but focused on building genuine, long-term client relationships.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage a busy pipeline of opportunities.
- Flexible in your approach and keen to be part of a collaborative team.
- A full UK driving licence holder with your own vehicle.
