Are you a seasoned Quality Manager or experienced Lead IQA ready to step into a high-impact, strategic role? A leading childcare-focused apprenticeship provider is looking for a Curriculum Quality Manager to drive excellence across their delivery teams and help shape the future of their training provision.
Main Purpose
This is more than a quality role – it’s a strategic leadership opportunity where your experience and ideas will directly influence outcomes and help boost learner achievement rates.
Responsibilities
- Lead on quality assurance and continuous improvement across all apprenticeship programmes
- Oversee the Quality Improvement Plan and Self-Assessment Report to drive results
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with delivery teams, Awarding Bodies, and EPAOs
- Lead complaints and appeals processes with a problem-solving mindset
- Support and develop the IQA function, including mentoring junior IQAs
- Focus on key metrics like QAR, distinction rates, learner withdrawals, and breaks in learning
- Contribute to strategic thinking with the business’s best interests at heart
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in FE quality assurance or a similar environment
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and Ofsted frameworks
- Experience as a Quality Manager is ideal; Lead IQAs ready to step up are also welcome
- Strategic thinker who can roll up their sleeves when needed (e.g., deep-dive activity)
- No childcare background required – an outside perspective is welcome
- Someone who likes to smile, is positive, and takes a solution-focused approach to quality
