Educated Appointments are delighted to be appointed by a client who are specialists within education qualifications to recruit an Assessor for their office in Stone, Staffordshire.
The client, who are an online qualification provider for the education sector, provide work-based qualifications across a variety of subjects aimed at enhancing Teaching Assistants, Teachers and Early Years careers. These qualifications include:
Certificate for Higher Level Teaching Assistants.
Certificate for Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools.
Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools.
Diploma for the Children’s Workforce (Early Years Educator).
All courses are accredited.

Main Purpose
Working closely with other staff members and reporting into the Head of Centre, the Assessor will fulfil the requirements and standard of the client and Awarding Bodies. The Assessor will provide learner support and assess all work completed towards their qualifications.
Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Being initial contact for a group of learners undertaking their qualifications.
- Providing adequate support to learners, whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Assess learners in their chosen qualifications.
- Ensure any CPD courses are completed and marked.
- Utilise and keep up-to-date the learning platform Moodle.
Qualifications Required:
- Assessors Qualification (A1/ CAVA/ TAQA or equivalent).
- Teaching Degree or equivalent.
- Level 5 in Education & Training (Desired).
- IQA (Desired).
