Key Accounts & Employer Outreach Executive

Are you an ambitious relationship-builder who thrives on making connections that truly make a difference?

We’re looking for a Key Account & Employer Outreach Executive to play a pivotal role in connecting employers with high-quality training and apprenticeship solutions.

Operating from a home base (ideally in or around the Lincoln area), you’ll travel across a wide region – from Louth down to Stamford, across to the East Coast, and West to Newark-on-Trent. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Main Purpose

This is more than just a sales role – it’s about helping businesses grow through skills, shaping career opportunities for the next generation, and being part of a forward-thinking training provider with a strong reputation in the sector.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing partnerships – building strong, long-term relationships with employers, understanding their workforce needs, and presenting training and apprenticeship solutions that add real value.
  • Driving growth – achieving agreed sales targets by promoting a diverse portfolio of apprenticeships, skills programmes, and workforce development services.
  • Engaging with impact – delivering professional sales presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to each employer’s needs.
  • Managing your pipeline – maintaining regular, timely, and effective communication with prospects and customers, while keeping accurate records on the CRM system.
  • Representing the organisation – attending employer visits, events, and open days to showcase services and celebrate achievements.
  • Contributing to strategy – gathering market intelligence and sharing insights to support wider business planning and innovation.

What we’re looking for:

A proven track record in a similar role within apprenticeships, skills, or training – or the confidence and drive to bring your transferable sales and relationship management skills into the sector.

A natural communicator who enjoys meeting people, asking the right questions, and creating solutions that work.

Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy schedule and personal sales pipeline.

Flexible, proactive, and happy to travel within the territory to meet the demands of the role.

What’s in it for you:

This role comes with a highly attractive package, but beyond that – it’s the chance to join a people-focused organisation where your contribution matters. You’ll be supported, trusted, and given the freedom to make an impact.

42 days annual leave (including bank holidays).

Generous pension scheme (5% employee contribution, 7% employer contribution).

Life insurance worth 4 x your annual salary.

Private healthcare after a qualifying period.

Branded workwear provided.

Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:15pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm (with flexibility required to meet business needs).

If you’re ready to bring your energy, professionalism, and people skills to a role that has a real impact – we’d love to hear from you.
