Management Apprenticeship Tutor
After several years of stability, consistency, and strong staff retention, a well-established apprenticeship provider is entering a carefully planned phase of growth — and is now looking to welcome a Level 5 Management Tutor into its experienced, supportive team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing people at a deeper level. It’s not about heavy assessment workloads or traditional box-ticking. Instead, it’s about coaching managers to think differently, lead more effectively, and apply learning meaningfully within their organisations.
If you’ve spent time in management yourself and now enjoy helping others grow into confident, capable leaders, this could be a hugely rewarding next step.
This is an organisation that values quality over speed. The tutoring team has remained largely unchanged for several years — a strong indicator of a healthy culture, realistic workloads, and supportive leadership.
Tutors are trusted professionals here. There’s space to do the role properly, time to build relationships with learners, and genuine support when challenges arise. Development is encouraged, not rushed, and people are valued for their experience and judgement, not just their qualifications.
Growth is intentional and thoughtful — which is why this role is being recruited with long-term fit firmly in mind.
After several years of stability, consistency, and strong staff retention, a well-established apprenticeship provider is entering a carefully planned phase of growth — and is now looking to welcome a Level 5 Management Tutor into its experienced, supportive team.
Main Purpose
As a Level 5 Management Tutor, you’ll support apprentices who are already operating in management or middle-management roles. These are experienced professionals looking to strengthen their leadership capability, strategic thinking, and confidence.
Responsibilities
Your role will focus on:
- Coaching managers to apply learning directly to their leadership roles
- Supporting reflective practice, self-awareness, and professional growth
- Guiding apprentices through structured progress reviews and tutorials
- Helping learners contextualise theory within their own teams and organisations
- Preparing apprentices calmly and confidently for End Point Assessment
- Working with employers to support meaningful development and progression
- Managing learner journeys and evidence to demonstrate progress and impact
You won’t be delivering technical classroom training. Your value lies in coaching, questioning, and supporting apprentices to think differently about how they lead.
This role is particularly well suited to someone with real-world management experience who enjoys developing others.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have experience in middle or senior management, leading teams or departments
- Enjoy coaching, mentoring, and supporting others to grow
- Are comfortable working with experienced professionals and challenging thinking constructively
- Value relationship-led work over compliance-heavy assessment models
- Are reflective, empathetic, and confident having professional-level conversations
Formal teaching, assessing, or coaching qualifications aren’t essential. What matters most is your leadership experience, communication style, and desire to support others. Full support is available to help you develop any required qualifications.
This role offers a genuine hybrid working model:
Monday to Wednesday: office-based
Thursday & Friday: home-based
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Flexibility is part of the culture. Adjusted hours or reduced working days may be considered, subject to business needs and individual circumstances.
Some UK travel may be required occasionally, including rare overnight stays, but this is minimal and not a defining feature of the role.
Benefits
- 25 days’ annual leave plus a Christmas shutdown (customary each year).
- Private health insurance, including dental and optical contributions
- Death in service benefit
- Standard pension contributions
- Free on-site parking
- Funded professional development and qualification support
You’ll be joining a stable, knowledgeable team where experience is respected and collaboration is genuinely valued.
If you’re looking for a role where you can:
- Use your management experience to make a real difference
- Develop future leaders in a meaningful, human way
- Be trusted and supported as a professional
- Join a calm, experienced, values-led organisation
…we’d love to hear from you.
