Main Purpose
We recruit industry specialists who want to make the career change to delivering training and skills.
We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer with some Mechanical experience and a high level of industry experience who feels they have the right skills and attributes pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation of engineers.
Responsibilities
This position is based at the our client's training centre in Hull and entails delivering high quality apprenticeship and commercial training for our client companies. The role will predominantly involve the training of Process Operation apprentices at the site and also monitoring their progress in their company.
The successful applicant must have experience in:
- Plant and process operations
- Mechanical maintenance
- High energy safe isolation
- Mechanical joint integrity
- Health & Safety practices and procedures.
A working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is desirable but not essential.
The successful applicant also needs:
- A minimum of Level 3 Engineering qualification
- Good interpersonal and computer skills
- Full Driving licence
Whilst assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable, they are not essential as full support will be given in the development of necessary skills.
