Main Purpose
As a Quality Improvement Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the high standards that the provider is known for. You will be a key driver of continuous improvement, working closely with the Quality Manager to ensure the delivery of outstanding education, learning and assessment across apprenticeship provision.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and conducting purposeful quality assurance activities, including observations, sampling, and shadowing.
- Analysing performance data, learner feedback, and compliance outcomes to identify trends and opportunities.
- Producing clear, insightful reports that lead to practical actions and improvements.
- Supporting the development of coaches and tutors, helping them stretch and enhance their practice.
- Preparing for Ofsted inspections and external quality assurance visits, ensuring readiness at all times.
- Monitoring compliance against internal frameworks and the Education Inspection Framework.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- An IQA qualification (essential).
- At least 5 years’ experience in apprenticeships, with a strong background in quality assurance.
- Knowledge of Ofsted reforms, apprenticeship funding regulations, awarding and EPA organisations.
- Excellent communication, data analysis and reporting skills.
- A confident, constructive approach to feedback, with the ability to influence and inspire colleagues.
- A flexible, proactive and solution-focused mindset.
