Quality & Inclusion Manager
Do you believe that outstanding education starts with strong safeguarding, genuine inclusion, and high-quality teaching? Are you motivated by making a real difference — not just ticking boxes, but shaping experiences that help learners thrive?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and well-regarded apprenticeship and training provider with a strong reputation for putting learners first.
This is not a back-office compliance role. It’s a visible, influential position at the heart of the organisation.
You’ll be trusted to lead on safeguarding, Prevent, quality assurance, and inclusion across the whole learner journey — from first enquiry to achievement and progression. Your work will directly influence teaching practice, staff confidence, learner wellbeing, and inspection outcomes.
You’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders, tutors, assessors, and learner support teams, helping to build a culture where high standards, reflective practice, and care for learners are embedded into everyday working life.

Main Purpose
As Quality, Safeguarding & Inclusion Manager, you’ll play a central role in shaping the quality, culture, and consistency of provision — ensuring every learner feels safe, supported, and able to succeed.
Responsibilities
This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic oversight with hands-on involvement. You’ll be:
- Acting as Designated Safeguarding & Prevent Lead, working with other DSLs to maintain a strong safeguarding culture and ensure robust, up-to-date processes.
- Leading quality assurance across the provision, ensuring consistency and excellence in teaching, learning, assessment, and learner support
- Working closely with awarding bodies, supporting qualification quality visits and ensuring standards are maintained across all programmes
- Observing teaching and assessment practice across college and workplace settings, offering constructive feedback and coaching
- Designing and delivering meaningful CPD, standardisation sessions, and training for teaching and assessment staff
- Delivering annual staff training in safeguarding, Prevent, equality, diversity, and inclusion
- Supporting and mentoring new teaching and learning staff, helping them settle in and succeed
- Working alongside learner support colleagues to support apprentices with SEND, welfare, or personal challenges
- Championing inclusion and wellbeing, embedding inclusive practice across all aspects of the provision
- Supporting inspection readiness and working with senior leaders to remain confident and prepared at all times
- Contributing to careers guidance, learner progression, recruitment activity, and apprenticeship promotion
You’ll be someone who genuinely cares about quality education and learner experience. You’re confident, approachable, and organised, with the ability to influence others through professionalism rather than authority alone.
You’re likely to bring:
- Experience in education, training, or apprenticeships
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Prevent, and quality frameworks
- Confidence observing teaching and supporting professional development
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trust with staff at all levels
- A passion for inclusion, wellbeing, and positive learner outcomes
You don’t need to know everything on day one — what matters most is your commitment to doing things well, supporting others, and always keeping learners at the centre of decision-making.
This organisation is proud of its supportive, people-focused culture. You’ll be encouraged to bring ideas, influence practice, and grow professionally. Your work will be recognised, your expertise respected, and your impact clearly visible.
If you’re looking for a role where your values align with your work — where quality, safeguarding, and inclusion genuinely matter — this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
